Listed here is a 1949 edition of On Board the S.S. Brazil, Dinner Menu, published by the Moore-McCormack Lines. It's a dinner menu for the evening of Wednesday, January 26th, 1949, with an art piece titled Bahia-Brasil "Food Vendor", by Ada Peacock.
On first glance, this menu is rather minimalist. A fine, white canvas, with a beautiful woman in a floral dress carrying a fruit basket above her head. Contained within is a page simply announcing the ship this menu was served on, and then the very comprehensive menu on the opposite side. It features dishes such as the Iced Borscht Polonaise, Fried Merluza, and Argentine Roast Prime Ribs of Beef au Jus.
This menu is in good condition. There is a crease on the upper right corner throughout (pictured above). There is also some wear on the right outer side of the cover, and the corner (pictured above). Inside, the menu has some foxing, mainly along the edges of the page (pictured above).
Please look at all of the provided images to fully assess the product's condition.
Measures approximately 12" by 9".
