Aluminum sleeves are designed for forming an eye or loop on wire rope. They are made of aluminum so that they are soft enough to be crimped but still provide ample strength and corrosion resistance. When properly applied, aluminum sleeves develop the same breaking strength as the cable onto which they are crimped. If used on PVC-coated cable, remove the coating from the assembly area before swaging. Sleeves and stops can be fastened using the appropriately sized crimping and swaging tool. Designed for use on 1/8 in cables. Item is sold per pack of 42.
