Like with our Editall blocks, our precision Surelock™ center tape groove gently holds your tape in place and properly made tape will not slide around in the groove.  This allows a good, clean cut with no gap between tape ends to contaminate your tape heads with adhesive, or create a pop in the recording.  Note: The cross cut slots for cutting your media are designed for maximum .009 thickness blades.  Do not use thicker blades or you can damage any block and void your warranty. ALWAYS use a sharp stainless steel media blade. Also included is one 82 FT roll of top selling TME® splicing tape, and you get one USA Made .009 thick stainless steel GEM® triple facet cut media edge cutting blade.  Additional quantities are available from US Recording. Aluminum blocks WILL corrode if not anodized.  Aluminum anodizing seals the pores of the metal, keeps it from corroding, and makes the surface much much harder, nearly as hard as case hardened steel! Note: We tested competitors' blocks and they miserably failed, and they were pretty much useless.  The tape swam around in the groove making splicing very difficult.
