For many years it was the headquarters for Contempo Casuals Clothing Store owned by Carter Hawley Hale. After Contempo Casuals was sold, the new owners moved the headquarters out of state. The building sat vacant for several years. Finally it has been converted back to retail, it is now a Restaurant Supply Store.
